Although I've planned many weddings at the Natural History Museum, this was my first summer ceremony and the difference was incredible.
The summer sunlight poured into Hintze Hall, filling the space with the softest golden light and giving the museum a completely different feel to the evening weddings I'm more used to. It was the perfect backdrop for my American bride and British groom, whose family and friends had mostly travelled from the USA to celebrate in London.
The brief was all about embracing an English summer - a palette of ivory, blush pink and fresh foliage that complemented the grandeur of the museum without competing with it. Timeless but with some contemporary twists, elegant and sophisticated but with some subtle nods to the Museum and all the while beautifully understated.
Swipe all the way to the last photo to see what might just be the happiest recessional I've ever witnessed.
