Some standards last a lifetime.
Others, a little longer.

At Sudeley Castle in the Cotswolds, the story goes that a housekeeper named Janet never quite relinquished her duties.
After retiring in the early 1950s, she returned each week to inspect her successor’s work. And according to the castle’s own ghost stories, even death couldn’t persuade her to stop.

Her ghost is said to visit the upstairs rooms, running a disapproving finger over the furniture - still checking for dust.

We rather admire her commitment to standards. Although we do encourage our team to switch off at the end of the day.

Celebrating 10 Years of Georgiana at Haus Maids!

Today is a very special day at our office as we celebrate **10 incredible years of Georgiana being part of the Haus Maids family!

Georgiana joined us back in October 2016 and has played a huge part in helping Haus Maids grow into the company we are today.

Always the first into the office each morning, Georgiana is one of those people you can always rely on. Over the years, she's helped train countless new colleagues, been a friendly face to everyone in the team and worked tirelessly to maintain the high standards we're so proud of.

Of course, many of our customers, past and present, will know Georgiana too! She's received so many wonderful compliments and glowing reviews over the years for her attention to detail, friendly personality and fantastic work.

She's even been one of the stars of our professional photoshoots and training videos!

Today we celebrated with a specially made carrot cake and some gift vouchers as a small thank you for everything she's done.

Ten years with one company is something really special these days. We think it speaks volumes about Georgiana's loyalty and dedication, but we'd also like to think it shows that Haus Maids is a great place to work, grow and build a long-term career.
