How to prepare for your upcoming houseclean:
10 tips on things you can do to prepare

1. Pick up any clothes or laundry around the house. picking up clothes, towels and sheets that may be in the way of cleaning is always a good idea to clear the way for the premises to be cleaned properly. 🧺

2. Prepare your bed/bedding. If making the bed is included in your service, make sure to leave everything ready, clean bedding prepared for your bed to be made up. 🛏️

3. Pick up clutter. This is one of the most important tips on the list. Clutter will get in the way of cleaning. I will be reluctant to touch your personal belonging but will move them to an area so to clean. Please put your shoes and clothes away, food in your fridge, and any rubbish into bins.

4. Clean off the counters. Things like empty jars, food containers, and personal belongings may get in the way of cleaning the surfaces and worktops. So make sure to clean of desks, countertops and shelves that you want dusted and cleaned properly.

5. No food or dishes mess. If you have food left-overs, make sure to store it away if you want to save it for later, or throw it in the bin. Similarly, clean the dishes if this is not included in your service. 🥙🍽️

6. Please put your personal belongings away to keep them safe. Especially if you have valuable items like jewelry. Personal belongings can get in the way of vacuuming, dusting and properly cleaning all surfaces.💍

7. Make sure your pets have a safe space. I’m pet friendly but pets can perpetuate the mess and make it difficult to clean.
I know I have my own hairy mess makers, that if not sent to bed while I clean are underfoot supervising my every move 🐶 so even If your pets are very friendly, make sure they have somewhere to settle while cleaning is carried out. 🐈🐕

8. Communication is key. Please make sure to communicate all your expectations, If you have any special requests,or want a particular job prioritised it is best to put it in writing (I.e email).

9. Decide whether to arm your security system. If you are away during cleaning, make sure to consider disarming the security or giving the security code to disarm and then alarm your security. This information along with any key-safe codes will be kept confidential.🔑🚨

10. In the politest sense. Get out of the way 😊
However, if you are working from home and are not in the position to do that, we can just coordinate the timings around each other and I will work as quickly and efficiently to have your house fresh and clean, then I’ll be off out of your way.
