DB CLEANING SERVICES β ADVERSE WEATHER POLICY
Purpose:
This policy outlines how DB Cleaning Services will operate during periods of adverse weather such as snow, ice, storms, flooding, or other conditions that may affect travel, safety, and service delivery.
Our Commitment
We aim to deliver all services as scheduled; however, the safety of our staff and clients is our priority. There may be occasions when extreme weather makes it unsafe or impossible to attend appointments.
Possible Impacts on Your Booking
During adverse weather, the following may occur:
Delayed arrival times due to road conditions
Rescheduling of your clean if travel is unsafe
Temporary suspension of services in high-risk areas
Reduced team availability, depending on staff travel restrictions
Notification Process
If we must amend your booking:
You will receive a text message, email, or phone call as soon as a decision is made.
We will offer either:
The next available appointment, or
A temporary alternative date/time
Payments & Cancellations
If DB Cleaning cancels your clean due to weather, there is no charge.
If you choose to cancel due to weather, we require 24 hours' notice.
Cancellations inside 24 hours will normally be chargeable unless weather conditions are severe.
Client Responsibilities
Ensure safe access to the property, including cleared paths, steps, or driveways where possible.
Inform us immediately if your property becomes unsafe to access.
Exceptional Circumstances
In the event of red weather warnings or government travel bans, services may be suspended without notice. You will be prioritised for rescheduling once normal service resumes.
