Look it's snowing inside this salon 😂

This was dander on the ceiling of the salon.

Dander primarily impacts human health by triggering allergic reactions and respiratory issues, while also degrading indoor air quality and cleanliness.
There are a few health risks caused by microscopic flakes of animal skin aka dander.

A good regular cleaning schedule and good ventilation within your salon will help.

Happy Friday 😊

Question, what achievement have you had big or small within your business or life that made you stop and think WOW look what I've done?

Yesterday I was servicing a couple of blasters and had an overwhelming feeling of achievement and progression. When I started AMK Services it was called AMK cleaning & maintenance service and we never used service stickers until January this year. Started with the ones on the left and now we have nice ones with our logo on them 😁🐾

This is a massive win for AMK Services and a very proud moment 🐾

Was called out to have a look at a combination dryer, something didn't seem right. The filters were clogging and it just didn't seem to be as powerful.
After a full inspection, you can see the dander within the casing.. we had it cleaned and serviced.

This got me to thinking, what do you do within your salon to help protect yourself against dander?
At AMK Services we provide a maintenance and cleaning service to help protect you as much as possible against dander, dust etc

Get in touch and see what we can do to help you, from deep cleans and regular servicing of your equipment and much more.

When was the last time your blaster/dryer was serviced?

The top picture was the carbon brushes that came out of a blaster the other day and the bottom one is the carbon brush I replaced it with. What a big difference.
When the carbon brush that is required to create the friction to produce the air is worn then the blaster will get so much hotter, smell a faint burning smell and will eventually just stop.
The thing is if you leave it too late, the motor itself will get damaged from the worn brushed 😔

A regular serve every 9-12months will keep that blaster/dryer working well.

Anybody agree, that these are so difficult to clean?

One of the hardest for us to clean in a salon but a good paint brush, warm water and washing up liquid works very well to clean these 😀

As well as service and repairs we clean salons too. Call and book a salon clean or service of your equipment.

It is filter Monday 😃

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

Have you cleaned your filters?

So many times I come across filters covered in so much hair and dander. A clogged filter puts a lot of strain on the motor/s within the dryer/blasters by restricting the air flow that is required to produce the air required to dry those lovely fur babies.

AMK Services has many different filters, so if you require a new one, get In touch with us as we'd be more than happy to supply a nice new filter.
