Eco Clean Exeter is hiring an Eco Cleaning Operative to join our growing team!
We’re an eco-friendly cleaning company using UK-made plant-based products, reusable bamboo cloths, and zero-waste methods as standard. No harsh or nasty chemicals — better for your health, our clients, and the planet 🌍

We travel by e-bike wherever possible and work within 5 miles of Exeter city centre.
This role would suit somebody who genuinely cares about sustainability, takes pride in their work, and enjoys staying active.

Hours
Saturday & Sunday early morning cleans
(5:30–6:00am starts)
1–2 midweek cleaning days
(typically starting around 8:30–9:30am)
Flexible to help with Airbnb cover on some weekends
Weekend availability is essential.

Contract
This role begins on a zero-hours contract during a 3-month probation period, with the opportunity to move onto a part-time or full-time contract after successfully passing probation.

Pay & Benefits
£14 per hour
Holiday pay
Full employment benefits
Pension contribution:
4% employee contribution
1% tax relief
5% matched by Eco Clean Exeter
= 10% of your wage saved for retirement 💷
Paid monthly on the 5th
Eco-friendly products and equipment provided

Essential Requirements
✔ Able to pass an enhanced DBS check
✔ Confident lone worker
✔ Confident cyclist in busy Exeter traffic
✔ Friendly and approachable
✔ Honest and accountable
✔ High attention to detail
✔ Fit and active — this is a physical role involving cycling and cleaning throughout the day
✔ Comfortable working independently and managing your own time
✔ Must have a smartphone with internet access
✔ Must live within practical cycling distance of Exeter city centre

No driving licence required 🚲

Equipment and products are transported by e-bike between cleans.
We are hiring immediately and you could start with us next week, subject to references and DBS checks.
