Free Devon Business Bootcamp Coming to Exeter! 🚀🌿

​Exeter small businesses—the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and Devon County Council are hosting a free Festival of Business at the Exeter College Future Skills Centre on Friday, September 25th.

​It’s packed with practical advice, expert insights, and networking to help local independent businesses grow. Great opportunity for fellow Exeter business owners to connect! 🤝🏢

Small businesses in Exeter are being invited to join a free Devon Bootcamp and help grow their business.

The Festival of Business is being run by the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB) and takes place at the Exeter College Future Skills Centre on Friday 25 September.

The event is being run in partnership with Devon County Council and is designed to support businesses across Devon with practical advice, expert insights and valuable networking opportunities.

We’re currently looking for an Eco-Friendly House Cleaner / Domestic Cleaner to join our small, growing cleaning business, Eco Clean Exeter.

We’re passionate about sustainability, eco-friendly cleaning and providing a genuinely high-quality service to our customers.

💷 Pay: £14.00 per hour PAYE
🚲 E-bike provided for work
🕐 Part-time initially – Wednesday to Friday, with the potential to expand to Monday–Friday once fully confident in the role.

My least favourite chore… the laundry! 🧺😂

But when it comes to cleaning, hygiene is everything.

At Eco Clean Exeter, we carefully separate our cleaning cloths when washing:

🔴🟡 Tiboo bamboo cloths – toilets & bathrooms are washed together
🧽 Minky bamboo cloths – general cleaning
✨ E-cloth 100 Wash mop heads – floors

Keeping these separate helps us maintain high hygiene standards, while also helping to prevent the different fibres from breaking down as quickly. That means our cloths can have a longer working life, reducing waste and making our cleaning system even more sustainable. 🌱

Supporting Local Businesses 💚🚲

Looking for a local e-bike or bicycle mechanic in Exeter? We’ve found a great one! 👏

We’ve been working with Jay at Cycle Chauffeur who has recently launched his own local business, and we’re really pleased to support him.

Jay has done a fantastic job maintaining our ENGWE e-bikes, DYU e-bikes with trailers, and building our brand-new Fido T2 e-bikes.

He’s knowledgeable, approachable and reliable, with a quick turnaround and reasonable rates for a skilled mechanic.

One thing that’s particularly important for our business is that Jay offers pick-up and collection, which saves us valuable time and means we don’t have to take our bikes out of service ourselves. 🙌
