"Dedicated to Paul"
The Large Leak!
I had a leak, a while ago
And I didn't know what to do
A lady rang upon my phone
And suggested I call you
So I called your number, on my phone
And I'll not forget that day
When to my relief, you answered it
And a soothing voice did say
'Don't worry now, we'll help you out'
'You'll be priority'
And that's when our friendship began
"Paul's Waterworks" and me
You kindly sent sweet Kevin down
To case the joint that day
Photos taken, reports made
And then I heard you say
'We'll be down on the Saturday'
Much to my delight
I slept that night, for the first time
As the end was now in sight
Two lovely men looked after me
But the job was a nightmare
Noisy, drills, and carpets up
All I could do was stare
But a marvellous job was done by them
A blue pipe came in sight
I nearly had a heart attack
The large leak gave me a fright
But everything was put back straight
Just like it was before
I blessed the day I rang you, Paul
Of that, I'm very sure
What happened then, another leak!
Now the toilet, too
'Don't worry, Jane' you said to me
'I'll come down again to you'
I've never met such lovely men
Paul, Kevin, Mark, Matt, Lee
Who helped me out from dire straight
Let's hope, that you'll agree
That I was worth it on that day
When all of us first met
Thank you, Paul, a million times
And you know I'll not forget
How kind and thoughtful you have been
All people aren't the same
