It's been a long time since we last blogged about a project, and it's something we want to restart, so we're going to kick it of with a stonker.

Not a supercar, but super in a different way. UK Detailing took on the challenge of restoring a unique XJL Ultimate. This was going to be a unique challenge to get right.

The new Tesla Model Y has now started to land with customers that had ordered (and waited some time!).
This very cool car was dropped with us for some minor corrective polishing, and application of the awesome Garage Therapy ceramic coatings.
After a thorough decontamination process, we carried out some focused polishing to specific areas, and got to work with the application of Garage Therapy Cerberus, and Hades - both offering great protection and ease of cleaning.

As some of you may know, we have an in-house BMW fancier. You can imagine his delight when our friends at Classic Bahnstormers got in touch with this stunning BMW E30 325i Cabriolet.

After a through exterior decontamination service, and some attention to some interior mildew from storage, it was soon looking its iconic self again. Hopefully you all enjoyed a much needed festive break, and new year celebrations!

We are now back up and running, and looking forward to what 2022 has to offer us.

With new car deliveries being delayed (still), we have noticed a surge in used performance and prestige cars being purchased.

This stunning BMW 330d was recently purchased by one of our customers. In remarkable general condition, it was in need of some cosmetic improvement to look its best.

We carried out a deep clean of the exterior, including a full chemical decontamination process. Once the vehicle was completed, we applied the awesome three CS coating by Garage Therapy. The interior was cleaned throughly, wheel emblems were replaced, and tyres treated.

Another recent commission, was to carry out a substantial engine and chassis clean. This 5 year old Mazda CX-5 was recently purchased by our customer, and as part of the post-sales service, the oil filler cap was unfortunately left removed from the vehicle.
After chatting with the very apologetic car sales team, the car was delivered to us, and we carried out the service.

Using concentrated, but sympathetic detergents from Garage Therapy, we raised the vehicle to gain access to the underside and began the thorough cleaning process. We then approached the engine bay with care, making sure to avoid water ingress and throughly drying all areas before dressings.

Last week we were given the opportunity to work on this stunning new Polestar 2, only 1 week after the owner took delivery.

After a full decontamination process using the Garage Therapy range of products, we applied Garage Therapy Cerberus protective coating. This will help the vehicle stay cleaner for longer, make the vehicle easier to clean for the customer, and protect the gleaming paintwork from the elements.

Watch this space for another job completed last week, which was much more... oily...

Working with the highest quality repair system from Germany, we can carry out small repairs, sympathetic restorations and even colour matching if panels have been replaced.

This work is all carried out at our exclusive detailing studio, located just 5 minutes outside of Cirencester, Gloucestershire.

As Autumn is now upon us, it brings our favourite time of year. The time where pieces of motoring history are prepared to go back into hibernation. This wonderful Rolls Royce Silver Cloud is one we previously prepared, and was captured on a misty Autumnal morning.
