Quick tip for anyone with carpets that have seen better days 👇

When something gets spilt, blot it — don't rub. Rubbing pushes the stain deeper into the fibres and spreads it wider. Press a clean cloth straight down to lift as much as you can, and work from the outside of the spill inwards.

That handles the emergencies — but for the ground-in dirt a vacuum can't reach, a proper deep clean makes a world of difference. Carpets come up brighter, softer underfoot and fresher than you'd expect.
