This may seem obvious to some, but it wasn't to me...I would recommend removing fridge shelves like this, basically as vertically as you can. Today's fridge clean was also super satisfying 🌟 Remember to be very careful as the clear plastic parts tend to be EXTREMELY brittle.

One cloth clean.
I already gave the place a proper clean not long ago but today I felt like it just needed a quick spruce up (and it makes me feel better too) so I applied the one cloth clean. One cloth to rule them all. A quick wipe around of dust and water marks basically, focusing on the bits that need it, and avoiding any bits that are REALLY dirty. Those will need a proper clean and would just soil the cloth immediately.

I almost wish I hadn't figured out how to pull the laundry detergent slot out 😰 But I'm so glad my laundry is not going ...

One thing I never get around to is windows, especially the outside as there are parts which I literally have never been able to reach...so I just gave up, until I thought of popping a cloth onto the end of an extendable duster. It worked pretty well on some windows but not others, but I'll keep working on a solution for next time. I mean, just a step ladder would be great but I don't have one... Anyway, enjoy the before and afters.

Most of my things are stored and organised in old cardboard boxes and plastic tubs from various foods. This is the more cost-effective and environmentally friendly option. However, I'm very happy that I went ahead and tidied up this mess with some simple baskets. It can make the world of difference to both your home and your mood to just have things neatly organised and put away. What do you think?

Damage from water and cleaning products, and scratches left by a metal toilet brush that doesn't actually fit into the toilet. While I would recommend against metal cleaning implements in general, such as this, I also just use this as a point that when purchasing items for practical purposes, it is of course important to consider their practicality. How long will they last and will they actually cause damage to your home?

Why skinny bins suck...
This seems pretty silly, but it's happened many times where people have filled their skinny bins up too much/it's too heavy/stuck and pressing on the sides due to its natural shape..so when it is pulled out the bag won't budge and eventually rips.
Squater bins recommended for practicality 👍
