HOSEPIPE BAN:
Do not worry! All bookings can still be honoured! Wheldrakes Wheels will still be running through the hosepipe ban - so get booked in to ensure your car stays clean!
Measures we will take to ensure we use as little water as possible through the drought period for Yorkshire:
1. Limiting hosepipe use: ensuring that, when the hose is not absolutely necessary, such as when applying abrasion to the car, the hose will be switched off.
2. Ensuring that, where at all possible, water runs into drains around houses: this will thereafter ensure that most water we use is back in the system, ready to be recycled and used again by Yorkshire Water
3. Using more traditional cleaning techniques: Instead of using the pressure washers at every occasion, simply using water and sponges where possible, such as to get the final finish on the car.
Using these three steps, WW ensures water sustainability through this hot period. I can assure any worried customers therefore, that WW will fully comply, and in cases go the extra mile, to regulations set by Yorkshire Water throughout the full course of the hosepipe ban. Any members of our team will be trained sufficiently to these steps, before the hosepipe ban comes into place.
