The Wash House

The Wash House The Wash House Community Centre is for all who live in Portobello regardless of Age, Sex, Religion or Ethnicity. We welcome community bookings for our venue.

The Wash House, also known as Portobello Community Centre is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) regulated by the Scottish Charity Regulator (OSCR) Charity number SC051735 Please note we are a voluntary management committee and are doing our best to respond to requests as soon as we can , but sometimes delays are inevitable ! Exciting times at The Wash House…we’re temporarily closing down at the end of the week for refurbishment of all the toilets, installation of new windows and the replacement of all the flat roofs. Starting Tuesday 7th of April at The Washhouse
6pm - 8:15pm (2hrs 15 mins)
Yoga poses, breathing exercises, deep relaxation and meditation each week.
Methods from the Ta***ic tradition that bring rest, energy and creativity to your daily life.
Prices:
11 weeks: £125, 10 weeks: £120,

8 weeks: £104, 6 weeks: £84

Yoga and meditation from the Ta***ic tradition. Deep reaching classes than release tensions and revitalize energy. Each class contains sequences often starting with yoga poses, continuing with pranayama, deep relaxation and ending with Ta***ic meditation.

The S1+ teen youth at The Wash House runs from 7pm until 8.30pm on Tuesday evenings.

This group is geared towards older teenagers and is suitable for S1's and above and is free to attend.
