🚨 We’re Hiring – Driver/Cleaner (Edinburgh) 🚨

We’re looking to add one new team member to join us at KRD Cleaning Services.

Role: Driver / Window Cleaner
This is a hands-on role primarily focused on window cleaning using our reach & wash system, along with some traditional window cleaning where required.

You’ll also support our wider team as a driver/cleaner, helping cover holidays and sickness when needed.

What we offer:

💰 £13.00 per hour (rising to £13.45 after 6-week probation)

What we’re looking for:

Reliable and hardworking
Comfortable working outdoors
Full UK driving licence required
Good attitude and willingness to learn

About the Role
You’ll work within a close-knit team delivering cleaning services across our client portfolio.
This includes:
🏢 Office cleaning
🏗️ Builders’ and final cleans for national housebuilders
🏘️ Flat cleaning
🏠 Common-area and stairwell cleaning within residential developments

Key Responsibilities

Drive company vehicles to cover holidays and sickness when required
Work as part of a team to deliver high cleaning standards
Follow correct cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
Replenish cleaning supplies when needed
Maintain all equipment and ensure it’s clean and in good working order
🧼 All uniform and full training are provided.

Hours & Contract

35 hours per week minimum
Monday–Friday, between 07:00–15:30 (rotational shifts provided in advance)
Rota Saturday work may be required
12-week on-the-job training / probationary period

Pay & Benefits
💷 Competitive hourly rate - Real Living wage employer
🎯 Performance bonus
💰 Company pension

Requirements
Full UK driving licence (required)
Fluent in English
Cleaning experience advantageous but not essential — full training provided
Must be authorised to work in the UK
Based in Edinburgh or able to commute

KRD Cleaning Services are looking to hire a reserve driver/Cleaning Operative.

A full drivers licence is essential, CSCS Card and prior experience in the cleaning industry would be advantageous.

Applicants can expect to work in a variety of environments including offices, factored developments, construction sites & private properties.

Standard minimum working hour contract of 30 hours per week.

Key responsibilities:

Cleaning sites to a high standard in line with cleaning specification
Communication with clients and other members of staff
Take responsibility for company vehicles during holiday/sickness cover
Liasing with line manager in a daily basis

The successful individual will:

Have a good eye for detail
Have good communication skills
Be a reliable & trustworthy
Have the ability to work individually & within a team
Be able to work in a physically demanding role
Have excellent problem solving skills
Have the ability to take initiative and be adaptable

Business hour:

Monday- Friday: 0700 - 15:30

Rotational Saturday work will also be required
