We were going to post about yesterday’s incident in Corstorphine, but there’s been another one already…we hope everyone is OK. As ever, we recommend contacting local councillors to express concern at the number of incidents in the area.

Police in Edinburgh were on the scene of a collision on Corstorphine Road on Saturday morning, after a Royal Mail van collided with a private hire driver at around 11am.

Sad news from Broomhouse Road, yet another incidents in the area. We're trying to arrange a discussion with local councillors to discuss what can be done to make roads safer and we'd suggest contacting them if you feel more could be done.

Police raced to the scene of the incident after they received reports of a collision between a car and a pedestrian on Broomhouse Road at around 12.15pm on Thursday, July 10.

A crash happened on Drum Brae North on Saturday evening, involving an ambulance and a car. The photos below were taken around 8.45pm Police Scotland have been asked for an update, and at this stage there is no information about injuries.

Nope.

Actually “Studies from around the world show bike lanes ease congestion, reduce emissions and are a boon to businesses”

Research studies from around the world say v clearly congestion is down to vehicle numbers. Not cycle lanes.

While many people, including Ontario's Premier Doug Ford, say that bike lanes increase traffic congestion, research from around the world shows that's not the case.
