Just a little update from me ✨

Although my social media has been a bit quiet lately, I’m still very much working behind the scenes and keeping busy with my lovely regular clients. Thank you so much for all the continued support — it really means a lot.

At the moment, I’m still recovering with my back and leg, so unfortunately I’m not able to take on any new ongoing/regular cleans just yet while I continue to heal properly.

However, I can still take on one-off cleans when my schedule allows, so if you’re looking for a spring deep clean, a one-time refresh, or help getting your home back on track, feel free to send me a message and I’ll do my best to fit you in.

Would like to wish all of our clients, old & new a big happy new year ✨

Things have been quiet here at shimmer & shine due to taking some much needed time to rest and atleast try to get myself recovered and back to it, not to mention all the chaos of christmas 😅

I have gradually been getting back into cleans and from Monday 5th Jan I will be back to work 😁

Look forward to seeing you all and hope 2026 brings you all nothing but pure happiness and health ❤️✨

Hello everyone,
Just wanted to share a little update and explain why things have been so quiet lately.

I’ve unfortunately managed to injure my back (as you can probably tell from these MRI pics 😅) and I’m having to take some time out to rest and recover properly.
I am awaiting treatment that I hope will get me back on my feet fully.

I’m still doing light duties for my existing clients where I can, but I’m not able to take on any new cleans at the moment. Hopefully it won’t be too long before I’m back to full strength!

Hi all, just giving you guys a update.

I am still off work, resting the best I can even though it's driving me insane 🙄😂

We are away for my daughters birthday next week and I'm hoping, with fingers crossed 🤞everything will be good in terms of me being able to stand/walk for longer periods of time.

I'm aiming to be back in work from September 8th and look forward to seeing you all then ✨❤️

Would just like to say a massive thank you to everyone who's got in touch asking about me really appreciate it ❤️

I'm finally home from that absolute shocking excuse of a hospital " the grange" after being treated so poorly by them for nearly 3 days. Honestly, I don't even know how the place is still open the way they treat everyone down there is appalling!! It got to a point where all of us patients were helping each other out.

I'm still in agony with what they say is a damaged disc in my back that's compressed on a nerve in my left leg which has made my left side go completely numb. I'm currently taking morphine for the pain which is making me a little spaced out as you can imagine 🤦🏽‍♀️so I'm a little slow with replying to everyone but I will get back to everyone that was and is booked in.

Iv been told that I have to take it easy and take some time off work which is going to be the worse part for me as I have alot of people relying on me that makes me feel like utter crap that I can't help like I normally do 😔 I'm so sorry to all my clients and I promise I will be back with you all as soon as I'm fit and able ❤️

‼️Urgent update for clients‼️

To all my clients I am truly sorry to cancel on you all last minute today and possibly tommorrow. I am currently down the grange hospital waiting for a scan and tests and not sure if I have to stay in or if I am allowed home.

Myself or Matthew Day will keep you all updated on what is happening and I just want to say thank you all so much for your patience and understanding 🙏

Just a quick personal update from me…

Today I seen the doctor and found out I have a bulging disc in my back, which finally explains the leg pain I've been dealing with for a while!

Despite this, I’m still committed to my work and continuing to provide the cleaning services you rely on — I just might be moving a little slower than usual for the time being.

Thank you all so much for your patience, understanding, and continued support. It truly means the world to me! 🙏✨
