This isn’t goodbye to both of these businesses that you know; this is a big step forward.

On the lookout for premises, North East!

We are on a look out for ideally a farm barn, workshop or similar based in north east. This will allow us to remain mobile but to also have a fixed site to have trucks come to us for repair work.

Do you know anyone with a spare large barn, workshop or similar? If so please put us in contact to discuss requirements etc. All options considered!

Starlink -

Starlink offers high speed connection wherever you are , even abroad. A great option for stay away shows, travelling or even emergency situations when you phone has no connection. Starlink uses satellites and in return provides a steady reliable connection unlike most WiFi installations in Horseboxes.

This lovely truck was in with us initially for a leak investigation. On this check over we discovered various issues with the roof, trims, drains and skylights / vents.

As can be seen from photos there is a drain system on the roof which is a bit of a poor design choice. The drain pipe was placed onto a screw to keep it propped up and over years of use cut through the pipe leading to a leak from the internal roof of the horse area. This meant we had to strip back part of the roof and remove the split section, A repair was completed to the pipe by replacing the broken section.

Drain on roof was resealed while also resealing the front fake window trim, skylights & vents and various other areas on the truck. A broken skylight hinge allowed a skylight to not fully seal this meant that due to the dropped roof section design it allows a pool to form with heavy rain and as a result leaked all throughout the horse area, this hinge handle was re secured and skylight sealed.

Some preventative maintenance was suggested which will be tied in with some other works to be completed.

Well, this lengthy job has come to an end, with only needing to pop back for a clean, and to re trim the partition pad. It had been of those jobs where you are working on an already poorly built Horsebox and you are uncovering more and more as you go along. It is so important to have your builds regularly checked, due to so much more work going unseen to the untrained eye until a whole lot more work is needed!

This particular box required a few bits!

• Metal floor rust proofed.
• New floor & rubber flooring.
• New wall matting.
• Full roof & door frames resealed.
• Re attach / reinforce loose swinging bulkhead wall & roof edge.

Aside form all that there was various other jobs we completed to tidy up the box. This is now built correctly for a durable finish with the flooring bonded by our two part resin with the correct sealing on all ends & joins to allow no further ingress of liquids between surfaces.
