Blooming heck, this owl rescue has gone viral! I'm just soaking in my 15 minutes of fame after being interviewed on BBC radio Cornwall.
I enjoyed talking to host Julie Skentelbery, she's a real hoot! 😆

Rob Stead was attending a routine chimney clean in Polperro when he made the discovery.

Well when I turned up to this job and heard a "twit twoo" I thought it was just another one of my admirers telling me how sexy I look (Happens all the time)... Little did I know there was an owl trapped inside the stove! With a bit of patience and care I managed to set him free. No two days are ever the same as a chimney sweep! 🦉

As I was already down Seaton, I thought I'd treat the apprentice to an afternoon out on the beach and an ice cream, which makes a pleasant change to her daily rations of gruel and bread!
