Working again at Chatelherault Country Park this week cleaning carpets in the Duke's & Duchess rooms. Back in a few weeks to clean the foyer and auditorium carpets. Stunning decor. We have also cleaned historic carpets in Po***ck house and Greenbank gardens for the National Trust for Scotland.

It's amazing how some carpet cleaners say they are the best on the market when they haven't even been through relevant training. There are some stating they have been trading for a considerable amount of years when again they haven't. There are several cleaners using high P.H. presprays and detergents not knowing or caring that it strips lanolin oils from wool and causes resoiling as well as other problems. Hi P.H. alkaline chemicals need to be acid neutralised with the appropriate P.H.. We occasionally have to resolve the problems caused by some other carpet & upholstery cleaners due to lack of training, education or just not caring.
Aquaclean will be trading for 30 years this coming May 3rd. We have 6 worldwide recognised qualifications as well as others. We use top of the range £3,000 machines and 'woolsafe' approved detergents with neutral P.H. pre-sprays. Outwith these we have specialist stain removers.

Drunk driver hit the side of our van in East Kilbride yesterday morning and fled. Luckily thanks to a witness who followed him he was arrested after i confronted him. He has written our van off so although we are still trading we are currently looking to purchase a replacement van and shall be hiring a van inbetween times to cover work
