Happy Christmas to all our customers and their families. We look forward to seeing you all in 2023.
Hopefully a better year. I must thank all those who have helped and supported me through the last 2 years. After loosing my dear mum & then my heart attack last April. Next year is a new beginning, onwards for even better services.

Following a centuries' old tradition, there will also be a local Proclamation to announce the accession to the throne of our new monarch, His Majesty King Charles III, to be held in Newport tomorrow (Sunday 11 September).

Residents are invited to join the High Sheriff of the Isle of Wight, Kay Marriott, and His Majesty's Vice Lord-Lieutenant, Brigadier Maurice Sheen, in St Thomas' Square, Newport, for the reading of the Proclamation at 1pm.

▪️ Where: St Thomas’ Square, Newport, outside the Newport Minster.
▪️ When: Sunday 11 September 2022.
▪️ Time: 1pm.

On the Island, flags will be raised at exactly 11am today which is the moment King Charles III is proclaimed King in London. Raising the flags marks a ‘celebration’ of the incoming sovereign.

Flags will remain fully raised until 1.15pm on Sunday when the Proclamation of the King's Accession will conclude in Newport.

Flags then return to half-mast and remain at half-mast until 8am on the day after the State Funeral when they return to full mast and fly as normal thereafter.

I'm sorry this has taken so long to post, but have been in shock as I'm sure a lot of us are since the news of the passing of our most beloved Queen Elizabeth ll. It will be a very sad and confusing time for a lot of people who have known nothing different than the constant that she was in our lives and identity as a country. Our thoughts and love go out to her loved ones who are mourning her loss and hope they can find a peace and comfort in knowing she is reunited with her beloved husband, and that we are all affected with them on different levels of grief and sadness. Thank you for your loyal service, Goodnight Your majesty and God bless.
