The New Strand Here at The New Strand we are a family run business with a variety of facilities available to you.

We are a restaurant, Bookshop, Pub and Post Office all in one. So enjoy a home cooked meal, sat in front of the fire with a real ale, reading a good book.

After the very sad passing of the Queen, we at the Strand will be closed on Monday 19th September for most of the day for the funeral. The pub will be open from 5pm onwards.
We appreciate your understanding.
