Customer asked us to replace this liner which he said was corroded. It’s been swept every year however burning wood and oviods together creates this claggy tar and as you can see the liner was blocked. How he has not been poisoned I will never know!!

When a local chimney sweep has swept this chimney twice within a couple of months and said “can’t find anything wrong with it”!! We had to cut the liner open, clear the blockage and then we installed an additional cleaning point should it happen again.
