The unfortunate truth of owning and running a business.

Running a business is really hard.

What they don’t tell you is that it can cause severe stress and anxiety, and drains you mentally to the point of depression in even the most laid back people.

People will talk about you, compare you to others, use you, they will view you as a service and not a person anymore.

Friends and family will expect discounts and people will value you and your hard work less than a big chain store.

You have to worry about if you forget to email/message someone back, are they going to think it was on purpose? Did you disappoint them? Will they hold that against you? When in reality you just can’t get to everyone’s messages and emails.

Starting up and running a successful business puts incredible strain on personal lives and relationships, many of which fail because there is just often no work life balance. You need to be the director, the worker, the admin, the marketing team, the accountant, the cleaner..... All whilst being a parent, a husband or a wife, family support, friend... it’s one of the hardest things you will try and balance

There’s a reason you don’t see many people succeed in small businesses after 5 years. If they are successful they are overwhelmed. It takes a toll. It’s freaking exhausting. Especially the past couple of years when so much has been out of our control.

Here’s a small reminder that we are just normal people with hectic lives. Be kind, be patient, support small businesses…….and hopefully more of us will stick around!

I would just like to say a big Thank You to all my clients who have supported me during his lockdown. The past few weeks have been really hard on us all.
Angel Housekeeping started back this week, following all guidelines set out by the government. The first week back has been at those clients that did not fall into the shielding bracket that the government had set. To all my elderly and vulnerable clients, I will see you in a few weeks time, as it is not the correct time for me to be coming back to you, as you still have a few weeks left of shielding.

I have had a few bookings for deep cleaning to offices and salons ready for their businesses to re-open. So if you require or can recommend Angel Housekeeping to any one you know who may be looking for a cleaner to deep clean their office's in readiness for their business to re-open, then please put Angel Housekeeping forward. I have full PPE and work to the social distancing guidelines. I have also acquired some cleaning solutions aimed towards combating the coronavirus on all surfaces.

Angel Housekeeping has successfully completed the course provided by Barbicide. Normally for the beauty industry, but this course covered all aspects of the domestic and commercial cleaning procedures for
covid-19.
We have also acquired some Antiviral Surface Cleaner ready to blitz your office surfaces back to readiness for a return to work.

Angel Housekeeping are looking at a phased return to business, complying with the guidelines set out by the government.
A return date will be sent out to my current clients first and then advertised here for any person wanting a cleaner or if your business is looking for a cleaner to deep clean your offices for your own phased return to business.

I have acquired PPE which will help protect you and I when Angel Housekeeping can resume domestic and commercial cleaning.
Also new to Angel Housekeeping, we are using a new product from Hyclin, an Antiviral Surface Cleaner which kills 99.99% of germs including Coronavirus.
