Leaving a little Amber Glow wherever we go ✨🧼💚

Believe it or not, those water marks are just one week of everyday use! 💦 It just goes to show how quickly they can build up and why keeping on top of them makes all the difference ✨

Cleaned, polished & gleaming again 🤌🏼

💷 A little payment reminder

We’ve recently had an increasing number of cleans where cash hasn’t been left, creating extra admin and, more importantly, resulting in cleaners not being paid when they’re due to be paid.

I’m sure we can all agree that whether you’re paid daily, weekly or monthly, you expect to be paid on time. Our cleaners are no different. 💚

Unfortunately, this means we’ve had to introduce the payment policy above going forward.

Thank you for understanding and to everyone who always has payment ready for their cleaner 🧽✨

Not every home we clean is just “dirty.” Sometimes life simply gets in the way. ❤️

This bathroom belonged to an elderly gentleman who could no longer keep on top of it himself.

After years of built-up limescale, soap scum and hidden grime, we gave it the deep clean it deserved, restoring it to a fresh, hygienic space again. ✨

This was part of our 23-hour one-off clean, and seeing the difference at the end made every minute worthwhile.

Sometimes our job isn’t just about cleaning. It’s about giving someone back a space they can feel comfortable in again. 🧼🤍

People often ask why a deep clean costs more…

This is why. ✨

23 hours of detailed cleaning, working through years of built-up dust, grime and neglected areas to completely transform this beautiful home.

No rushing.
No shortcuts.
Just meticulous attention to detail from start to finish. 💚🧽✨

I get asked all the time why I bother with toilet roll bows… “I’m paying for a clean, not toilet roll origami.” 🧻✨

So here’s the reality.

This video is in real time and took a grand total of 1 minute and 3 seconds.

I promise I’m not spending half your clean turning your bathroom into a wedding venue. 🤣

For me, it’s just one of those little finishing touches that makes a home feel that bit more special. If I can make someone smile for 63 seconds of my time, I think that’s time well spent.

Now settle an argument…

🧻 Team toilet roll bow?
🙅 Or team leave it plain?

✨ An Important Update from Amber Glow Cleaning ✨

Firstly, I just want to say a huge thank you to every single client who has supported Amber Glow Cleaning. Whether you’ve been with us from the beginning or have only recently booked, your support has allowed my little business to continue growing, and I genuinely couldn’t be more grateful. 💚

I’ve held off increasing my prices for as long as possible, but with the rising costs of running a business—from fuel and insurance to products, equipment and everyday operating costs—it’s now time to make a small adjustment.

This change allows me to continue providing the reliable, professional service and high standards that Amber Glow Cleaning is known for, while ensuring I can continue investing in the business and the quality of service you receive.

From 20th July, our new hourly rates will be:

🧽 General Cleans: £22.50 per hour (previously £20)

✨ Deep Cleans, Commercial Cleans, Holiday Lets & Renovation Cleans: £27.50 per hour (previously £25)

I’ve also introduced a new Booking Information & Housekeeping Policy, which will be sent to all new clients when booking, but it is also on my page. It simply explains how we work, what you can expect from us, and how we can achieve the very best results in your home.

Thank you again for your continued support, recommendations and trust. Every booking, recommendation and kind word genuinely means the world to me, and I can’t wait to continue helping even more homes shine. ✨

Your glow-up, without the effort. 💚

✨ It’s the little touches that people remember. ✨

Anyone can clean a bathroom…

But taking the extra minute to leave a flower 🌸, a bow 🎀 or a bunny 🐰 on the toilet roll? That’s what turns a clean into an experience.

Because at Amber Glow, it’s not just about leaving your home spotless—it’s about leaving you smiling when you walk through the door. 🤍

Sometimes, it’s the smallest details that make the biggest impression.
