For this solution, I’m making clove and sweet orange, for that last spritz in the air of a freshly cleaned bathroom, bootroom, kitchen or utility.

There’s something really special about furniture made before the 80’s; dovetailed not nailed, attention to what the back and insides look like, starburst patterns created by the grain of wood, and that beautiful patina created by years of use and care.
Remember the adverts for ‘modern’ polish?! Basically spraying a plasticky residue over the top and smearing it around. All we ever needed was a damp cloth! 😂
