I’ll try to keep this short, I’m sure many of my clients are confused right now.. probably just as confused as I am 😅
I’ve had a few messages and phone calls now regarding Lexie going off on her own and contacting my clients offering them to go with her.
I’ve given Lexie her first job, I’ve paid her well for her age, I’ve given her my work van while I was off and paid for the insurance out of my own pocket to enable her to drive it. I’ve put a lot of trust into someone else to keep my business going while I had my baby and what I’ve received in return is leave without notice and my clients being poached from me..
All I’ll say is how disappointed I am, I’ve worked from the ground up for over 4 and a half years to make MDC what it is today, to have someone I trusted take clients from me while I’m off with my 3 week old baby, recovering from major surgery and not able to get back out to work myself.. there’s no words for it really.
I’m someone who believes there’s plenty out there for everyone, I want everyone to succeed and do well, I’ll always cheer anyone on in their own ventures, I always have. So to have someone start up on their ‘own’ but with clients they’ve taken from me is so disheartening, especially 3 weeks postpartum.
