Some keepsakes carry a story that stays with you forever.
When Edie's mum first got in touch, she wanted to have these keepsakes made from her daughter’s baby clothes while she still could. She told me she wanted to do it “now rather than later”—to celebrate her little girl and preserve those precious memories, rather than having to think about memorial keepsakes in the future.
Heartbreakingly, this beautiful little girl passed away from Cln 2 Batten Disease before I was able to make them.
It was an absolute privilege to create these keepsakes in her memory. I hope they bring her family a little comfort and help keep those precious memories close for years to come.
