Nothing makes a car look bad more than the wrong washing technique, creating swirl marks. You will often see this technique used at the local 'scratch & shine'.
The reason they are cheap is they aim to get as many cars washed as quickly as possible, and they are not that interested in keeping your paint in the best condition. The next time you use their service, watch how they wash your car in a circular motion, which creates the swirl marks.

Automatic car washes can also leave lots of marks. The brushes on these machines are spinning and cleaning dirty cars all day. The brushes are not changed regularly nor washed. The dirt from the previous cars can linger on the bristles then when you drive your pride & joy in, that dirt can cause slight or serious scratching on your vehicle.

At The Shining - Crazy About Car Valeting we wash your car the safest way. We use a premium pre wash then rinse to loosen and remove the majority of dirt. We then apply a snow foam and wash with a quality Korean microfibre mitt and never use circular motions to wash your car. Then after another rinse we apply a sealant and rinse with deionised water for a spotless finish. We also use a high pressure air blower to blow out water from crevices to limit runs and streaks, limiting the amount of time we are physically touching your car and less risk of any swirls or scratches.

HEADLIGHT RESTORATION

*all prices are minimum rate. severely dirty/soiled vehicles may incur extra charge. this can be discussed on inspection of vehicle on the day.

OTHER INFORMATION:

We currently do not carry out paint correction (scratch removal), headlining (interior roof) cleaning or the cleaning of engine bays, although planning to introduce these options in the future.
Please ensure that your vehicle is free from possessions and litter so that we can carry out a thorough cleaning process to your vehicle.

VANS

These are priced on individual condition. We may be able to give a better idea of price if the customer supplies photographs of the interior areas of the van. This can be done by sending photos to us via WhatsApp message or email.

DISCOUNTS:

We may be able to offer discounts if the following criteria is met:
Bookings for 3 or more vehicles at the same address at the same time, cars that are relatively clean.
