Caring for someone you love is one of the greatest honors, but if I’m being completely honest, it’s also one of the hardest paths a person can walk.
When my mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s, my world shifted. Like so many people in the "sandwich generation," I found myself spinning a dozen plates at once:
🏢 Running and growing my own business
🏡 Raising teenage children and managing a busy family home
👥 Step-by-step, supporting and caring for Mum as her illness progressed

There were days of immense laughter, and days of quiet heartbreak. The mental load of managing a business while making sure Mum was safe, loved, and supported before she eventually transitioned into a care home was a heavy one. You constantly question if you're doing enough, giving enough, or being enough for everyone who depends on you.
