Originally owned by my parents in 2008 as K&D Laundrettes, the family business has been passed to the next generation as Wade Laundrettes. We are small and friendly team who provide a community service – providing clothes washing facilities at reasonable prices. Open 7 days a week, and a fully staffed laundrette who can provide assistance with the coin operated machines, or provide a Service Wash

facilities (mostly same-day service, depending on the number of requests received that day). We have loyal customers who travel from as far as Barnsley and Worksop to use our services - so come and see why they prefer Wade Laundrettes!

On the 24th and 31st of December the last wash will be at 1PM, from that time as soon as there are no machines in use we will be closing, and as usual we will be closed on the 25th, 26th of December, along with the 1st of January

Just a quick heads up that as of tomorrow there will be a couple of slight price increases.
For self service, our 40lb washes will be going up from £8 to £8.50
For service washes, large are increasing from £15.50 to £16, and extra large are increasing from £18.50 to £20

A couple of quick reminders about service washes.

Firstly they must be paid in full before they are done, due to this customers who bring too much at once for us to price up on the spot may be turned away or advised of self service

Secondly service washes are done at the discretion of staff, so if you are ever rude to them, don't be suprised if they refuse service

I am of the mindset that whoever is on shift is the person in charge that day, so asking them to call their boss to try and go against this policy will only waste your time

I've realised that we've not posted an updated price list in a while (also I guess actually printing one would be a good start), so here's the guide prices for our service washes, which includes wash, dry, and fold.

For self service, our washers range from £4 to £8 depending on size, and drying time is priced at £1 for 8 mins
