W H A T A W E E K 🫣🌸

Our usual team of 5 has been a team of 2 for the week whilst a few of the staff are on their holidays 🏖

2 of us to do ALL the cleans possible, whilst trying to survive the hottest week of May ☀️🌡 AND having kids off school for half term - Its been hard work to say the least 😅 but we made it 💪👏

Thank you to everyone who's been soo understanding this week, all that offered cold drinks, made sure the house was cool & left fans on for us ! 🥰

Those who changed their usual cleaning days or times to help us juggle everything - We really appreciate you!! 🙏

My eldest son Zak's team - Askern Miners U11GS are holding a World Cup Sweepstake :

🌞 HOT WEATHER 🌞

With the temperatures very warm this week, the wellbeing of our staff is our priority while they continue providing the best cleaning services.

Cleaning is extremely physical work so we kindly ask clients to help us keep working conditions as cool and safe as possible by:

• Allowing windows to remain closed during the hottest parts of the day
• ❌️ conservatories will not be cleaned during extreme heat due to unsafe temperatures ❌️
• We will be taking extra breaks to hydrate💧

We appreciate your understanding and support while our team works hard in these hot conditions.

✨ 5 Years of JL Cleaning Services ✨

Wow… where has the time gone? Today I’m celebrating 5 amazing years of JL Cleaning Services 🌸

What started as a small idea with big hopes has grown into something far bigger than I ever imagined — and it’s still growing to this day. From my very first cleans to building a loyal client base and a business I’m so proud of, it’s been an incredible journey.

Running a business definitely isn’t always glamorous 😆 It’s long days balancing everything that comes with it — being out cleaning, managing admin, replying to enquiries, sending quotes, organising schedules, and still making sure my own clients get the very best service every time.

And alongside all of that… life doesn’t stop! Juggling work around my two boys, their football ⚽️, running a home, being a mum, and being a wife means life is always busy — but I wouldn’t change it for the world.

There have been tough days, tiring days, and days where I’ve wondered how I’d fit it all in… but there have also been so many rewarding days, proud moments, lovely customers, and memories made along the way.

I just want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who has supported JL Cleaning Services over the last 5 years — every booking, recommendation, like, share, and kind word has meant so much to me.

This little business has come so far, and I’m so excited for what the future holds 💖
