🥚 Great EGGS Networking meeting this morning at the Park Hotel!

How often do you get the chance to hear the real story behind a local business?

Today it was Joey from Spall’s Garage's turn to deliver his 10-minute Spotlight Talk – one of the best parts of our meetings. The spotlight gives members the opportunity to share their business journey, their passions, and sometimes even the community or charity work that matters to them.

Joey shared how his passion for Land Rovers started at just 11 years old, when he decided he wanted a career working with them.

He began his journey with local independent specialist Mark Peacock Land Rovers, before gaining experience at three other garages. Eventually he took the leap and started his own business – Spalls Garage.

While Joey and the team work on a wide range of vehicles, Land Rovers are his true passion, and his goal is simple:

👉 To become the go-to name for Land Rover expertise in the area.
You could say he’s on a mission to become “Mr Land Rover” in Suffolk!

We had a great EGGS networking meeting this morning at the Park Hotel—finishing off a sunny week at last! ☀️

It was another strong session filled with referrals and thank yous. Personal recommendations are such a powerful way to grow your business—being able to say “I know someone who can help” really does make all the difference.

But it’s not just about referrals. These meetings are a chance to really understand each other’s businesses.

Today, Trevor from shared a great insight into their work—from stable conversions to windows, doors, and creating beautiful, functional indoor spaces tailored to clients’ needs.

We also had our Top Tip slot, with Ellena from Ulric Web Design Limited highlighting the importance of Google reviews. They’re simple, free, and incredibly effective for boosting your website rankings—just share your link with clients and let Google do the rest!

Such a great morning ! Thank goodness we are all experts in our fields, as Christmas quizzes are really not our forte!!

Great EGGS Networking meeting today at the Park Hotel 🥚🎄

Full of Christmas jumpers (and tights!), festive fun, and the inevitable disagreements over quiz answers — because it wouldn’t be Christmas without a bit of family-style banter around the table!

Having previously been involved with networking meetings EGGS Networking Diss is new and refreshing outwardly thinking with welcome and open arms to all businesses small like ours or big aswell.

We are all treated with respect and dignity and our opinions matter!

🍾Last week we had a celebration cheer for Alex from UgoBuild DIY Harleston when he announced they had reached their turnover target for this year – onwards and upwards to the next one!

🪴 Both Tim from STAR Plumbing, Heating & Renewables and Perdee from C&H Cleaning Company have taken on new staff so if you need your air source heat pump servicing or your home or office to sparkle get in touch!!
