Merry Christmas from us all here at Sonic Solutions Ltd!

We are closing for Christmas on the 24th of December and will be reopening on the 4th of January 2021. We will however be available for emergency work should any of our customers need us. We just ask that they contact us in advance before shipping anything and we can make sure someone is available to help.

Although it has been a tough year for everyone, we remain optimistic that throughout next year we may be able to start returning to normal life.

We hope everyone has a safe festive season and we hope to see you all again in the new year!

Making our own luck in uncertain times....
We haven't had many jobs for our vapour blast recently so I've been itching to fire it up. We then received an interesting enquiry about cleaning horse shoes. Although the enquiry probably won't go anywhere it got me thinking... could I revive an old horse shoe. Luckily, My girlfriend owns a horse that loves to throw shoes so I got my hands on one that had been laying in the field for a few months. After 5 minutes in our wet media blaster, we turned an old hunk of rust into a shinny pot of gold.

Problem:
A PVC recycling company needs their laser discs cleaned of carbonised particulate and rust.

Solution:
3-5 hours of ultrasonic cleaning within an acid solution, neutralised with an alkaline jet wash then dried and packed.
