If you enjoy walking your dog in wooded areas abundant with oak trees, please do take extra care. Always keep an eye on them and discourage any attempts to nibble on fallen acorns, as they are both toxic and a potential choking hazard!

As we approach autumn, leaves will start to fall and along with it can be a fair few acorns. 🍂

Our 30-minute dog walk and 30-minute home clean are proving popular for customers who need their dog exercised and their home, typically the kitchen, lounge, or bathroom, given a 30-minute spruce-up to look clean, tidy, and welcoming when they walk through the door.

However, a clean and tidy of just one or a couple of rooms per visit does not fulfil the requirements of some clients, who are requesting a more thorough clean throughout their home.

🎉 NEW TIME SLOT ALERT!! We have introduced a new mix-and-match service of 1.5 hours. This time slot (in most homes) allows for a full downstairs or upstairs clean along with a 30 minute dog walk.

Book two visits a week, and we can clean downstairs for an hour on the first visit and upstairs for an hour on the second visit, and if time permits, we will also do a quick spruce-up of the opposite space.

🐶 Your dog benefits from a 30-minute walk once or twice a week, plus the added bonus of the company of the same trusted person for an additional hour on each visit.

A slot is available from Monday to Friday between 2:30 pm and 3:30 pm for either a half-hour or hour-long dog walk, or a combined one-hour dog walk and home clean service.

You can book all five days or just one, two, three, or four, as we are happy to accommodate more than one new customer.

This opening has emerged due to a customer relocating, offering you an opportunity to secure a regular booking with Mutt Strut and Sparkle.

If you live in Borrowash and are interested in this slot, please don't hesitate to contact us. We anticipate this popular time will be booked quickly.

As the last bank holiday of the year approaches, let's hope we all get the chance to savour some quality time with our fur babies. Fingers crossed the weather improves and we get some warm, sunny weather to make those walkies and play times extra special!

However, it's worth noting that after this holiday, we'll face darker mornings and evenings, which can make those 'out of work hours' dog walks trickier and home cleaning seem much more of a chore.
