Such an honour to host French Ambassador Hélène Duchêne and her team yesterday. Sharing our learnings together about transforming refugee communities with employment opportunities through Upbeat Clean.

Refugee women are so eager to work hard, integrate into our communities and support their children, we just need more organisations like Vaillant UK that can see the huge potential around us. Thank you so much Hélène for coming to visit us with your team. It was an experience our cleaners and our team will remember for years to come.

Upbeat Clean has been recognised by His Majesty the King for transforming lives through cleaning – and we're proud to be the first cleaning company to receive the King's Award for Enterprise in the Promoting Opportunity category!

This is a massive win for our team, many of whom have fled horrific situations with kids as refugees and have worked tirelessly to rebuild their lives and support their families.

It’s also a win for our amazing clients and partners. You needed excellent cleaning and you chose one that creates jobs, restores confidence and changes lives.

We can’t wait to see the King’s emblem on our uniforms – a proud moment for everyone at Upbeat Clean.

What if we did our best to build a society where people were welcomed when they had to run because their country or city was destroyed or their family was under threat of violence or persecution. Where individuals could find work and friendship and rebuild their lives as part of the local community.

Upbeat Clean is proud to be dedicated to pursuing this vision. Upbeat Clean has a team of 32 cleaners and managers, many have fled war and violence and some are Derby born and bread, working together, building friendships and creating the society we should all want to be part of.

Proud to partner with over 30 companies in Derby who support us in this mission.

Really excited to be celebrating our 3rd Birthday!! It's been an incredible few years for our fantastic team. We've been so encouraged by the support of the business community who have been eager to partner with us to change the lives of refugee women in Derby through their office cleaning contracts.

It was an absolute privilege this morning to share the stage with two of our cleaning team from Upbeat Clean at the Marketing Derby Annual Business Event, they were so inspirational as they spoke about their courage in leaving their countries to protect their children and the perseverance and determination they have shown in rebuilding their lives here in Derby.

Winning Marketing Derby's Rising Star Award last year catapulted Upbeat Clean forward and led to partnerships with so many great Derby companies. This has enabled us to double the number of people we employ. Excited to see what 2024 holds.
