It was a proud and happy day in the Vales and Hillsides of Wales today.
For today, Donna Constance was confirmed in her new role as Associate Regional Director for Wales & The West by our Group MD, Chris Wisely, much to the delight of the man whom she succeeds, our Group Commercial Director, Jamie Davies.
Here is what Chris had to say, “Donna joined Atlas from outside the industry,” Chris noted today, “and within four years she has transformed into one of our best operators. This promotion is very much in recognition of that, but even more importantly, Donna is in absolute alignment with our Purpose and Values. She creates happiness wherever she goes and her whole leadership style is threaded through with our values.”
“I feel so lucky to be here,” said Donna in response to the sincere praise and acknowledgement from Chris.
Jamie was was having none of it, mind, while beaming widely at the exchange! “You create your own luck in life,” he declared, ”and all your persistent efforts have paid off. The saying that cream floats to the top couldn’t be more appropriate than with you.”
So, what’s next for our rising star in Operations?
“I want to start by looking at where the gaps are in operational delivery and how to close those gaps and become the very best we can be,” she said. “Secondly, it’s all about growth – to make sure we are using all the Atlas Connect systems properly and to their best advantage, so that we can start moving towards doubling my patch!”

But there’s something at the very heart of Donna’s style and approach - an inspirational challenge to everyone in the Wales and West region.
“Team development – that’s the most important; getting some structure in place so that everyone can have the framework to grow. We have to make sure we know and understand everybody’s ‘Why’ and then help them achieve exactly what they want out of their work at Atlas.”
“Really, I just want to be honest with people, sharing my own experience and giving them all the opportunity to develop that I have had throughout my time working at Atlas with Jamie.”
