Question : do you think that being a cleaner off Air bnb's is just making beds and a quick hoover around ??
Well i can tell you a secret it's not .
Being a cleaner a of air bnb's means your constantly bending back and forwards for your clients .
You have to make sure that everything is sparkling for every guest that's coming in .
Yes you make your beds that tidy as possible and hoover every room but also make sure there isn't any dust anywhere like in draws or left behind items off other guests ,skirting boards behind beds or wardrobes , that the bathroom is absolutely hair free including in plugholes or that the toilet brush is spotless ,make sure whole kitchen is all ready set up including making sure there is enough plates ,cutlery ,pans etc etc oven clean, breadcrumbs out the toaster all these details are very important but not only cleaning is a part of it you have also check if Wifi ,boiler ,all lights are working if not replace it or report it as a problem so that a maintenance can get called to fix problem before new guest's arriving .
and if you think you got whole day to clean 1 house wrong some days were having 5 or 6 houses to do and mostly you got only 2 hours per house some guest's are leaving at 10/11 o clock in the morning to get new ones in at 3 pm and you want to give them the same clean house as what you gave the guest's before them .
sometimes you have to do midstay cleaning trying to get everything cleaned with all personal item's off the guest's around you .And sometimes you have people leaving that day and leave all their personal stuff to pick up later that can be a race against the clock if other guest is coming in that day but we have to cut trough it and we do .
