Hi everyone, Iโm Lydia, the face (and busy hands!) behind ๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐ฌ. I wanted to take a moment to share a little about who I am, where Iโve come from, and why this business means so much to me.
Iโm a ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ ๐จ๐ ๐ญ๐ฐ๐จ ๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐๐จ๐ฒ๐ฌ who keep my world spinning in the best way.
๐๐๐๐ง๐ซ๐ฒ (๐) - sports mad, incredibly kind, and always up for a cuddle.
๐ ๐๐๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐ (๐)- full of imagination, drama, and steadily growing a huge teddy bear collection!
Iโve lived in ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ ๐๐ ๐ฒ๐๐๐ซ๐ฌ but I grew up just around the corner in Bracknell, where my family still are. Community and home mean a lot to me and maybe thatโs why Iโm so passionate about helping others feel settled and supported in their own spaces.
Professionally, Iโve been in the ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ๐จ๐ซ๐๐ญ๐ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฅ๐ ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐๐ ๐ ๐ฐ๐๐ฌ ๐๐.
I started out in car hire as an administrator, worked my way up to Personal Assistant, moved into the PMO, and eventually built my career in ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐๐๐ญ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ, where I still work today as a ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ ๐๐๐ง๐๐ ๐๐ซ for an incredible, diverse, and supportive company. Iโve just finished a amazing 18โmonth contract in London working with a consumer goods organisation โ a huge milestone for me.
When my boys are with their dad, I recharge by spending time with friends, family, and my significant other. Iโm happiest out on walks (rain or shine!), exploring new places, and cooking great food โ simple, grounding joys.
But one of my biggest personal passions has always been ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐ง๐ ๐จ๐ซ๐ ๐๐ง๐ข๐ฌ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง.
It brings me peace, gives me clarity, and creates a calm environment that reduces stress โ which, in turn, gives me more mental space for what truly matters: ๐๐๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ญ๐ข๐ฆ๐.
And thatโs exactly where ๐๐๐ซ๐ฎ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐ฌ was born.
Not just a cleaning business โ but a brand with purpose.

I want to be that extra pair of hands at home โ not just for cleaning, but for all the timeโdraining tasks like decluttering, organising, and laundry.
Tasks that take us away from precious family time in a world that already pulls us in so many directions.
Scrub Mummies is here to lighten the load so families can focus on what really matters.

I also want to create opportunities for mums returning to work after maternity leave or career breaks โ without the pressure of jumping back into the corporate world.
I want to offer school-hour roles, termโtime only work, and truly flexible contracts, all while taking the stress out of selfโemployment.
That means I handle the tax, NI, pensions, admin, bookings, insurance, DBS checks โ everything.
All they need to do is show up, do what they naturally excel at, and feel valued. No upfront investment, no overwhelming paperwork โ just support and understanding.
