Police are appealing for the public’s help to find 12-year-old Maryrose Bird, who is missing from her home in Litherland.

Maryrose, was last seen at Alder Hey Hospital at 5.20pm on Monday, 9 February and she has not been seen since.

She is described as a white female, 5ft 4in tall, medium to large build with long dark hair tied back in a ponytail.

When she was last seen she was wearing a grey Montirex tracksuit, blue gilet, black Nike trainers and a blue baseball cap with the letters MBNK on it .

Police are becoming increasingly concerned for Maryrose's welfare, and are appealing for anyone who may have seen her to call 999, so they can make sure she's safe and well.
