This is why Aga chimneys must be swept 🔥

This oil-fired Aga hadn’t been cleaned for several years and wasn’t performing properly. Heavy soot and deposits had built up inside the flue, restricting the draw, reducing efficiency, and putting extra strain on the appliance.

Regular chimney sweeping keeps Agas running safely and efficiently, improves performance, and helps prevent breakdowns and costly repairs.

If your Aga isn’t burning as it should, the flue could be the problem.

From bricked-up to beautifully finished 🔥

We enlarged this fireplace, fire-boarded the chamber, and installed a black honed granite hearth to create a clean, safe, and modern setting. Finished off with a focuscast oak beam and a Hunter Aspect 4 stove, perfectly sized for the space and ready to deliver efficient, cosy heat.

From tired and dated ➡️ to sleek and modern! We recently fitted this Aspect 7 log burner, and what a difference it makes.

✨ Removed the old surround
✨ Opened up and reshaped the fireplace
✨ Installed a brand new honed granite hearth
✨ Fire boarded the inside of the chamber for a crisp, clean look
✨ Freshly plastered the wall for a smooth finish

Now this space is ready to be the cosy heart of the home for years to come. 🪵🔥
