‘I worry about what will become of my dog if something happens to me.’
We fully understand the concerns of anyone living alone whose world revolves around their beloved companion.
It’s always a good idea to have an emergency contact list, and having a plan in place for your pet—perhaps with family or a friendly neighbour—can ease the burden of anxiety in the event of a sudden downturn in health, or if the worst should happen.
For those who have no one to depend upon for help, LCH offers a lifeline of support and practical assistance, as we have done over the years for so many others caught up in unexpected and unsettling circumstances. Pets suffering temporary separation or bereavement go to homes where they are doted on and cared for every bit as much as by their loving owners.
Please don’t worry any longer. Print out our contact information and place it somewhere prominent (fridge door, notice board, mantlepiece, etc) for yourself or anyone you know in a similar position. We’re working on having some printed cards available soon.
Donations are always warmly welcomed to help us help others in crisis. LCH is entirely volunteer run, so every penny you give is used for the benefit of the animals under our wing.
