🌈Happy Christmas everyone ! 🎄Thank you very much for a brilliant year 🤩 Thank you for supporting the business and for supporting the charity fundraising aswell. Collectively we raised £810 (plus gift aid) for CHUF (Childrens Heart Unit Fund) 🏃‍♂️🏅 I ran the Great North Run and I was overwhelmed with all the support. 😍
Also we raised some funds earlier in the year to give the people who work at the Freeman Hospital Childrens Heart Unit some treats (tea coffee chocolate etc)
We raised £400 for this.
This all just shows how lucky I am to be surrounded by lovely people 😍

Thank you to everybody who supported me 😍 . I ran the Great North Run in 2 hours 51 minutes. It was a very warm day I crossed the finish line and I think that many people had prayed for rain to cool down they were all answered at once and we were soaked to the bone within 2 minutes.😅 This time last year I.d never ran for 13 minutes never mind 13 miles ! My inspiration was the hard work of the team providing care to our heart heroes and I wanted to raise funds and awareness for CHUF (Childrens Heart Unit Fund) this charity helps in ways you cant imagine they help the children staff parents and families. Even providing medical machines and equipment . It was an honour to be part of the day and seeing all the people running for all the causes and the people who went along to cheer everyone on was absolutely mind blowing. 😍
Some people are asking me if I would do it again.....YES 😀

It's the Great North Run today I am so excited. I cant believe how much we have all raised it goes to show how we are surrounded by lovely kind people 😍
To keep me going I will be thinking about our Rebecca and all the heart heroes that are so brave , and thinking of all the people that care for them . I think this run will be easier than a single shift at the Childrens Heart Unit and we are so lucky to have such a brilliant team at the Freeman Hospital.

I see all the professional experts are on the internet giving advice on how to wash your car after all the Sahara desert sand 😅
My advice is ... it is now the weekend ! Forget it ! it's going to be warm weather so spend the time enjoying the time and just be thankful it's not the rain we are complaining about 😅
I am finished now and time for last minute training for the great north run on Sunday. 😀

😀 I am running in the GREAT NORTH RUN this year to raise funds and awareness for the charity CHUF . ❤
Chuf (Child Heart Unit Fund) whuch helps in lots of ways providing help to children who are under the care of the Children's Heart Unit in the Freeman Hospital. They provide help to the families of the patients , the nurses and to the NHS .
Please take some time to look at my just giving page and please if you can donate just £1 towards this charity I can assure you first hand it will help keep this charity doing what it does.
I am not a runner and never was , I have cycled and walked a bit but would be out of breath if I ran to the bin . I have been training a little maybe not enough but I will be thinking of the brave kids and families and nurses and doctors and everyone we met in the hospital to spur me on 😍

Hi. I hope everyone is having a good start to the year 😀 This time last year we were being cared for by some special people at the Newcastle Freeman Hospital . Our daughter Rebecca was born with a congenital heart disease and this was picked up on our first scan . We have all been in the care of these people since that day and she is doing brilliant .
These people really are special they look after lots of families every single day . They experience some awful things never mind working long hours and are underpaid they keep looking after us no matter what . The team of staff at Picu Ward 23 and Clinic E at Newcastle Freeman Hospital are absolute angels.
I have a couple of fundraising ideas I.m hoping to do this year so there is more to come ...

Thank you very much to all my lovely customers for your support this year . I am off now until after the new year.
Thank you very much for all my Christmas tips I received , I am using the money to buy my charity entry place into the Great North Run 2023 to raise funds for ❤ CHUF ❤ ( Childrens Heart Unit Fund ) they are a wonderful charity who helped us and lots of heart families we have become to know . This is a small step towards repaying some of the love we recieved to one of the charities that make the very hard journey a little easier in lots of ways and needs continued support to keep up the excellent work they do . I will be hounding everyone for sponsorship when the time comes 😅
Please spare a thought for the wonderful NHS we have who look after us whether its Christmas or not... we are lucky to have these people 😍

🌈❤Hi. We are back home now and our little Rebecca is doing very good thanks to all the love , help , messages , thoughts and prayers we have received...Thank you all for being so patient . I have a massive list of people who were booked in beforehand and were cancelled so I will try prioritise these people to be fair.
