Some people think slumbering your stove makes it more efficient, this isn’t the case.

Slumbering your stove is less efficient and causes you to use more wood for the same heat out put.

You receive a sizeable amount of heat from gasses being heated up, escaping the wood and then combusted.

This can only happen if you’re burning at an efficient temperature and introducing tertiary air to those gases for combustion.

A very interesting take, two different countries, two different outcomes on resilience.

With the change over to heat plumps do you think we should adopt a secondary heating source for resilience?

The increase of heat pumps, electric cars and AI data centres will require a greater demand on the current grid.

Is it too much of a demand too soon or will it all even out?
