Hello all! I've been very busy with real adult work but have been working on small projects when I can. First up was this custom soft cover notebook.

This was a bespoke project and using artwork from Mishfit.com. The design was tooled into the leather and then painted before being stitched together with the pages. These custom notebooks are great fun and an excellent way of creating something totally unique.

Scabbards!

Recent falchion scabbard project and trying new methods for wooden cores which I think came out a lot cleaner than previous attempts: and a much cheaper method!

This is a lovely sword so I wanted some decoration on it without going over the top (as it's a falchion) and looking forward to making more wood cored scabbards.

Throwback post to one of my favourite projects. This armour was made from a drawing sent by the client and features a lot of handtooling.

Armour is buckled at the sides and shoulders to adjust easily. Similar from £200.

Medieval wood cored scabbard with z-belt.

This has a carved wooden core, lined with wool and is then covered in thin veg tan with a rain flap.

Productive weekend working on scabbards and sheathes for various periods. Here is a Roman Spartha and Medieval arming sword (wood cored) and a bo***ck knife with sheathe. More photos of each coming in a few!
