The consultant breast surgeon who has been treating me over the last few years is running an ultramarathon to raise money for breast cancer care in the NCIC trust. I feel incredibly lucky to have been living in West Cumbria when I got my diagnosis and so grateful that I got to be treated at NCIC under the care of Mr Michalakis and the fabulous specialist nurses at the West Cumberland Hospital breast unit. I am just one of 100s of women, and sometimes men, who have received care from the team here, and unfortunately, there will be many more needing their help in the future. If you can, please show your support by sponsoring Mr Michalakis so that NCIC can continue delivering the same outstanding care that I have been lucky to get.

Unfortunately I will be taking an extended break from work for the foreseeable future and won't be available to take on any new work until further notice. I just want to say a massive thank you to all of my lovely customers for supporting me over the years, but particularly during the last 12-18 months, you're all amazing and you've restored my faith in humans 😉. Hopefully I'll be back and fighting fit sooner rather than later. 🥰💖

Hi everyone, I've got no internet or landline at home since the Openreach engineers fitting the new fibre optic cables in Isel cut through the existing cables a fortnight ago. Apparently fixing it is a complicated job, requiring mechanical diggers, and it is going to take a while to get the service restored.
