Id just like to share with you all a couple recent chimneys weve swept and how much soot came out, id like to point out that soot is very corrosive and can damage the grout of a chimney Breast over time causing damage that can be very expensive to fix, especially if you have a flu liner into a wood burning stove it will dramatically reduce the life expectancy of your flu.

Hello everyone. Thought I'd share this little video, we was asked to sweep 2 chimneys at the same property with 2 possible birds nests..and then install 2 bird guard rain caps... only 1 had a nest. I couldn't break through from the bottom so I went upto the chimney top,this is what I found. So. We instantly stopped work on this particular chimney, the mother was dive bombing me the chick's were crying and looked hungry AJ Sweeps Chimney Solutions . We care. We will return once the chick's have fled the nest. We will then remove the best and seal it from any future bird nest problems. Hello everyone. I Wanted to share a few pictures of recent work we have been lucky enough to be asked to complete. From a beautiful multi fuel stove to a stove from Sweden that was really funky then restoring a grade 2 listed fireplace and a "bionic stove." The most impressive stove I have ever came across but unaccessible to sweep so not that clever of a design it had been installed 10 years prior and never been swept. A feW photos of my work today.
Until I'd swept this stove I was un aware and thinking where is this soot coming from as I'd fully masked the stove from leaking any soot. Then after cleaning up i noticed the rear terminal has fallen out, I swept through the top terminal. I obviously had to fail the safety certificate,

Hello everyone , thought we would share a few photos of today's jobs, a bird guard rain cap this cap is an anti downdraft cap, I removed the bird nest 2 weeks ago it took me a massive 2 and a half hours it was possibly the biggest nest I've removed to date. Birds are relentless though and was instantly back at it building a new nest..hence the cap install today also a before and after photo of a stove i also swept today.
