Another week wrapped up ✅

Finished the week with some bouclé upholstery cleaning (the sofa arms are still drying 🙂).

To the untrained eye, you'd probably think all three pieces are made from the same material... but they're not.

• The armless chair is made up mainly of natural fibres (42% cotton, 12% wool, 34% polyester).
• The other two pieces are a blend of acrylic and polyester (synthetic).

This is exactly why it's so important to know what you're doing when cleaning upholstery. Different fibres require different cleaning methods, and using the wrong process can leave furniture looking worse than before.

Cellulosic browning, bleaching, pilling, fibre distortion... these are all very real risks when upholstery is cleaned incorrectly.

Always make sure your furniture is in the right hands. 👍

☕➡️✨ Spillages, everyday grime and years of use had really taken their toll on this beautiful pure wool carpet.

This elderly customer had unfortunately experienced a number of accidents with drinks over the years, so we were asked to see what could be saved.

We never promise miracles, especially when it comes to natural fibres like wool, but we do promise to give every carpet the very best chance using the safest and most effective cleaning methods available. 💪

Using advanced stain removal techniques and a wool-safe cleaning process, we were able to restore this carpet to a condition the customer never thought possible. 🙌 Even better, it was virtually dry before we left.

A fantastic result, and all for a fraction of the cost of replacing the carpet. 💷

Last job of the day... and what a save! 🥵

We received an emergency call from one of our regular customers after a tin of emulsion paint decided to redecorate their beautiful wool carpet 😬

Thankfully, instead of panicking and trying every DIY remedy under the sun, she gave us a call straight away.

We advised her on exactly what to do to prevent the spill from drying out, then headed over and got to work. Just a few hours later after the initial call, the carpet was looking spotless again 👌

This is exactly why acting quickly is so important when accidents happen. The sooner we're involved, and the less a stain is tampered with, the better the chances of achieving results like these.
