Experienced Mechanic – HVG’s, Plant, Machinery and Agricultural Vehicles

Our family-run Transport Yard is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and servicing our fleet of HGVs, ensuring all work is carried out to the highest standards and within agreed timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage day-to-day workshop operations.
· Carry out maintenance, servicing, and repairs across a wide range of vehicles.
· Prepare fleet of HGV’s for MOT
· Ensure all activities meet stringent best-practice and safety standards.
· Keep accurate records of all work performed.
· Be familiar with HGV Diagnostic (Jaltest) equipment.

Requirements:

· HGV Class 1 Essential
· Proven experience as a HGV vehicle mechanic.
· Strong ability to work with a variety of vehicles.
· HGV and car driving licence essential.
· Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
· Ability to manage workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
