Oven Cleaning Direct Re-Opens Monday 15th March

Further to the greatly improved figures of COVID-19 infections and the Governments’ recent road map for exiting the current Coronavirus restrictions, I am delighted to announce that Oven Cleaning Direct is re-opening for business on Monday 15th March.

I will continue to observe Covid best practices and would be delighted to hear from you if you now feel comfortable welcoming me into your home.

Covid-19 Update

After very careful consideration and in the light of the worst infection and death figures since the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, I write to advise that I am suspending my oven cleaning services with immediate effect and until further notice.

Although the latest Government statement allows for travel to and from work that cannot be done at home, I recognise the part that we must all play in slowing down the transmission of this terrible virus. That includes me and I will be abiding by the request to stay at home.

I will continue to review the situation over the coming weeks and will update my status as soon as we see a suitable reduction in the rates of transmissions, hospital admissions and deaths.

This has not been an easy decision to make, but it is my profound wish that we all remain safe, remain healthy and do our bit to protect the NHS as much as possible.

I would like to thank all my brilliant and loyal customers for their support to date and I look forward to seeing you all again once this situation eases.

Oven Cleaning Direct Remains Open for Business

Further to the New National Restrictions effective from 5 November, published on the Gov.uk website dated 31st October 2020, Section 1 (Stay at Home), para 2 states that I am permitted to continue to work in people’s homes.

As everyone’s safety remains the highest priority, Oven Cleaning Direct will be pleased to continue cleaning ovens providing:

1. Nobody in my home or yours is showing symptoms of
Coronavirus.
2. We always honour the advice of a minimum 2m social distancing.
3. I sanitise my hands before putting gloves on (prior to entry) and
my gloves will not be removed until I have left your property.
4. I may not accept kind offers of drinks and must bring my own.
5. All cloths/towels used must be placed in a bag upon completion
and never re-used before laundering.

These conditions are in line with the advice provided in the Covid-19 Prevention Course I completed earlier this year (certificate posted below).

I'm humbled yet again to receive a lovely review. Thank you very much indeed Sarah and I hope to see you next time your oven needs a clean.

My 12 year old oven which has been relentlessly used by adult family and had never been cleaned was left with absolutely no marks or residue as were the metal shelving racks. Steve was organised and professional and I would recommend OCD.

Super job! Arrived on time, clean, tidy & very competent. Complete dismantling of my oven, which now looks like new! I can see my “Aunt Bessies” Yorkshire puds rising, & when I burn the sausage’s!! 10 out of 10.
