I'm rubbish at this Facebook malarkey... been ages since I've posted anything at all. Here's another before/after couple of photos. Just a sweep and a good polish and this stove is as restored as the whole house is in the process of by it's new owners. TLC goes a long way.

A bit of hard work, and TLC has brought this rather neglected boiler stove back up to scratch. A rather awkward chimney that hadn't been swept for over a decade... sorted.
The stove was actually in pretty good condition, only requiring new door seals and a good clean and polish.
(The cat's name is Odin.)

Hi, I've been so busy lately that I haven't posted anything for quite some time.
September 23rd saw the 9 year anniversary of Brushed Up and I'd like to thank each and every customer that have used Brushed Up in that time.
I meet some lovely, friendly, interesting people and I am so fortunate to be earning my living this way. Maybe that's what they mean by 'Chimney Sweeps are lucky.'
In this age of multimedia bombardment I will occasionally miss getting back to an inquiry... if that happens to you, please accept my apologies. When I get home of an evening there are Text Messages, Messenger, WhatsApp, voicemail, email and missed calls to respond to, so please forgive me if I occasionally miss making a timely response.
Manic time of year as usual but it keeps me out of mischief. 😉

I really enjoy being able to get birds out alive when they've fallen down a chimney. It's only a small thing in the great scheme of things but it's a momentous life saving event to this little fella.
