I wish this post could be saying we won the tournament… but that would be a lie! 😂⚽

We might not have come away with the trophy, but we definitely came away with something even better… skinned knees, aching muscles, and for some of the team, what they’re convinced are broken kneecaps! 🤣

What a brilliant day though. It was great to get everyone together, have a laugh, and play as a team. Even our Director managed to end up on the floor… and that was just from running! 😅

A massive thank you to everyone who took part, supported us, and made today such a great day. It’s days like these that remind us what being a team is all about. ❤️

Now it’s time to recover the only way we know how… with a meal at the best place in Clacton, XO - The Greek 🇬🇷🍽️

Let’s be honest “VGM Facilities Management” was a bit of a mouthful, and it didn’t really tell people what we specialise in!

Our new name better represents who we are, what we do and where our future is heading. Although the name is changing, you can still expect the same trusted team, the same high standards and the same commitment to protecting our clients, their people and their properties.

We currently have opportunities available for:

✅ Stewarding
✅ Venue Door Supervisors
✅ Static Security Guards
✅ Mobile Response Officers

💷 Rates from £14 – £16 per hour, depending on experience
🕒 Hours vary
🎓 Free on-the-job training available
🏟️ Including Level 2 Spectator Safety training

💙 At VGM Facilities Management Ltd, we take mental health seriously. 💙

We are proud to announce that we have recently teamed up with Edgardos Elite, 12th Man, and MHFA England to continue strengthening our commitment to mental health awareness, support, and education within the workplace. 🤝🧠

As part of this commitment, 10 members of our staff have now completed their Mental Health First Aid qualification, helping us build a stronger, safer, and more supportive environment for our teams. 🎓💙

We understand that working in security can sometimes feel lonely. Many of our team work anti-social hours, often in challenging environments where they may meet people who are friendly, difficult, or unpredictable. That is why it is so important to us that every member of the VGM family feels supported, valued, and looked after. 🛡️🤝

Mental health matters, and we believe that looking after our people is just as important as the services we provide. 🙌

We are also excited to share that we will be looking at hosting another event very soon, so please keep an eye out for further updates! 👀📢
